Pho Real - Lemon Grove: Authentic Vietnamese Pho & More with Flavorful Broth and Generous Portions

I am visiting my husband in San Diego and it’s our first time being able to explore this town freely, looked at places to eat near our airbnb and took a risk on this restaurant. I am very picky about my pho but I hands down can say this restaurant is WORTH IT. Normally I like to add some sriracha and lots of lime to my pho but this broth was so flavorful and simple none of it was needed. I finished the entire bowl which the medium was big enough I can’t imagine the large portion they offer. One of the best pho broths I’ve had if not THE best. Thai tea was delicious as well but I got it at 25% sweetened so can’t tell you how the normal sweetness is but the waiter did say it was pretty sweet. Husband got the combo fried rice and said the meats especially the shrimp was delicious. Highly recommend will try to be back before I leave !

Pho Real We’ve been 4 times and our experiences have been very, very good. Vietnamese food hasn’t been high on my list, but in my opinion, this is a very good all around restaurant. The restaurant is clean and neat and the people there are all friendly and well spoken, no problem with communicating whatsoever, as I’ve had problems with other restaurants. For the most important, the food is one of the best my wife and I have had so far. They offer the Pho with many options, as well as rice plates with optional proteins. For starters, I recommend their spring and egg roll combo. They offer two large spring rolls, both cut in half and 3 egg rolls, each with their own dipping sauce, plus romaine, mint and cilantro. We all enjoyed them! They also offer many drinks with or without boba and a variety of other options for beverages. The prices are good, but don’t wait for the bill to arrive at your table, they have a register and that’s how you pay rather than the bill taken to your table. While paying, I was adding the tip, but the person told me a tip was already added due to the size of my group…I very much appreciated it, most don’t let you know thot you’re double tipping!! We’ll be back to try other menu items and I feel confident the next experience will be as good as the past experiences.

Such a great place! I just moved to the area and was in the mood for pho so I came across Pho Real. This is easily going to be my go-to spot now. Broth was incredibly flavorful, the meat was tender, and they did not skimp on the portions one bit. The service was also incredibly warm and friendly which means so much to me in a restaurant experience. Highly recommending this spot!

I'm obsessed with this spot! The pho is hands down the best l've had in town - rich, flavorful broth and generous portions of tender beef. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and intimate. But what really sets this place apart is the authenticity of the cuisine. From the spring rolls with a delicious spicy but really DELICIOSA PEANUT SAUCE to the orange chicken , every dish is a taste sensation. Don't miss the salted cream coffee - it's the perfect way to cap off a meal. Five stars isn't enough!

This was a great place to satisfy my pho craving, I was highly satisfied with everything in my visit. As I arrived plenty of parking and no wait time to be seated, I was welcomed with a smile and great customer service the entire time I was there. I ordered the egg rolls for an appetizer as I waited for the raw beef pho in a medium bowl size. Appetizer came out almost instantly and shortly after our pho order, food was delicious. Wonderful fresh savory flavors, I enjoyed my meal till the last bite. Place is huge for any special occasion and there is so much more in the menu that I was interested in ordering that I will be exploring on my next visit.

Such a good place to go get pho!! I got the seafood pho that was $15.50 for a medium size. It was sooo good!! We also some appetizers which were shrimp and pork spring rolls. We were seated right away and the atmosphere was so calm. They played good music and didn’t wait long for our food!! I highly recommend this restaurant .

Placed my order for pickup, took a little long to confirm in the system but it was ready quick and everything was packed VERY well so nothing spilled on the drive home. Got the #9 pho, boyfriend said it was very good. Gave us all toppings on side to put together ourselves and we had plenty. Got a strawberry match (delicious) and the egg rolls, perfectly crisp and also a solid choice. Bit on the pricier side but will definitely come back again!!! Also want to mention, excellent customer service when picking up.
